ABA focused Kindergarten readiness program

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is ideal for children on the autism spectrum struggling with sensory issues, communication problems, social skills, temper tantrums or changes in routine. It is a proven strategy for understanding behavior and how it is affected by the environment. ABA is widely recognized as a safe and effective way to help people with autism live happy and productive lives. The ABA approach is endorsed by a number of state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Surgeon General.

The hands-on learning experiences prepare individuals for the school setting while expanding and developing life skills. One-to-one breakout instruction with a licensed ABA therapist is incorporated for all children attending the group.

Sprouts is a year-round program running on a schedule of six weeks in session, followed by a two-week break.  Frequency and duration of breakout sessions is adjusted based on progress. Small groups with a 1 staff: 3 child ratios allow for the focused skill building and treatment to occur within the group classroom setting.  Progress reviews are every six weeks.
