Intensive Behavioral Health Services - Applied Behavior Analysis
ABA focused Kindergarten readiness program

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is ideal for children on the autism spectrum struggling with sensory issues, communication problems, social skills, tantrums or changes in routine. It is a proven strategy for understanding behavior and how it is affected by the environment. ABA is widely recognized as a safe and effective way to help people with autism live happy and productive lives. The ABA approach is endorsed by a number of state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Surgeon General.

Sprouts ABA Group Services
Sprouts is a group treatment program at Laurel Life’s Browns Mill Rd. location for preschool aged children experiencing skill deficits and/or developmental delays in areas such as: Cognitive and Social Interactions, Communication and Language, Play and Daily Living, and Emotional Regulation and Sensory Difficulties

Program Overview
Sprouts provides a range of age-appropriate behavioral and skill building activities through structured daily programming. The hands-on learning experiences prepare individuals for the school setting while expanding and developing life skills. ABA is the framework for each child’s individualized assessment and goal targets while attending Sprouts. The Clinical Specialist, who is a licensed ABA therapist, oversees all day to day program operations with on-site support from a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Additionally, the Clinical Specialist incorporates one-to-one breakout instruction for all children attending the group program and ensures that all material is specialized towards that child's ability and treatment goal targets.
Sprouts is a year-round program running on a schedule of seven weeks in session, followed by a one-week break. Frequency and duration of breakout sessions is adjusted based on progress. Small groups with a 1 staff: 3 child ratios allow for the focused skill building and treatment to occur within the group classroom setting. Progress reviews are provided every seven weeks.
