Polly Lamison, M.Ed.

​

Polly is the Co-Founder of the Transition Classroom concept. She saw a need for classrooms that focus on helping students who have behavioral needs as well as those who have experienced significant trauma.

 

Polly has a degree in K-12 Special Education and K-6 Regular Education. She also has a Master’s Degree in Education. Polly has taught both special education and regular education during her career at the elementary and middle level in both private and public schools. She also taught preschool in the past, and she is currently an adjunct professor for Wilson College.

 

In addition, Polly holds a Special Education Certification in Administration and was a Director of Special Education for a school district for 14 years.
