Margaret Denning, MA
​

Originally from upstate New York, Margaret has worked in the behavioral health field for over 10 years. While attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania for a Masters of Arts in Sociology she began working in day groups and homes for adults with Intellectual Disabilities. After moving to Chambersburg in 2010 she began working in a school setting specializing in Autism support as Director of Operations.  

 

In 2014, Margaret started with Laurel Life as a Mobile Therapist and Behavioral Consultant with the Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) team. In 2015, she transitioned into a supervisory role at the Franklin/Fulton program and in 2021, with programming changes occurring from BHRS to Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), Margaret transitioned into the role of Operations Director. 

 

She enjoys working with families to help them find the best level of service for their child and working with the IBHS team to understand program guidelines. Margaret enjoys spending time with her daughter, being outdoors, and reading.
